Girl by the Water

I am a huge fan of black and white. I took this in the spring of 2013. I saw this young lady sitting by the lake sketching the scene around her. We spoke for a while about her aspirations as an artist. It's always fun to listen how people want to shape their lives. I looked at her work and she possessed a nice grasp of art. As I left, I turned around and looked at her sitting and working. I pulled up my camera and captured this delightful scene. For me, the silhouette was perfect and caught the moment. The print stops you as you contemplate the scene and her thoughts.
